Eulanda F. Saunders, CRT, LMT earned an Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy in May 2000, a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies in August 2010 both from Mountain State University in Beckley, WV. She went on to become a Community Health Education Resource Person (CHERP) by obtaining a Level 1 Wellness Specialist Certification from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in February 2013 and Level 2 in August 2015 and plans to continue her studies at WVSOM. In November 2013 Eulanda graduated from Mountain State School of Massage and is now a WV Licensed Massage Therapist. She is a member of the Board of Directors at Just for Kids Child Advocacy Center. As a Therapist and Wellness Specialist she helps people develop a healthier lifestyle for wellness and stress management, disease prevention, disease management, weight loss and more.
Eulanda pursued a career in health care to give back and help others just as countless medical professionals had helped her. She learned at an early age and later through her respiratory career and receiving massage how important centered thoughts and emotions are for good health and well being, to decrease and/or alleviate pain and enhance healing and for longevity of life. After having gone through a horrible tragedy she had to put into practice all that she had learned from past teachings and has experienced first hand how important prayer-centered thoughts and emotions and stress management are. It was because of that tragic experience she became a massage therapist. Her adopted motto: "Massage therapy is an integral facet of a healthy lifestyle, not just an indulgence".
Eulanda enjoys spending time with her family, helping others achieve healthy goals, eating good food and traveling. Her hobbies include nutrition, reading about health issues, studying the affects of food and vitamins on the body, and their affect on disease processes. She likes to bowl and mentor young women particularly young entrepreneurs. Eulanda has two grown children, and a wonderful husband without whom none of this would be possible.
She is very active in her home church while enjoying working with the public and within her community in many capacities and has done so for many years.
